Leading The Power of Praise since February 2002, Deacon Quartey has guided the ministry with faithful dedication and musical excellence — calling and training others to carry the sound.

Our Story
In February 2002, as Jesus Power Assemblies of God Church was increasing in number, Pastor Osei Akomeah set up the music ministry. From the very first performance, it was clear that God had placed something special in this group.
Sixteen members took the stage and delivered an inspirational special song with explosive anointing — touching the hearts of the pastors and the entire congregation. Pastor Osei Akomeah then mounted the pulpit and declared:

The Power of Praise has come to stay. Under the leadership of Music Director Deacon James K. Quartey, the ministry has grown in depth, skill, and spiritual impact — a testament to God’s faithfulness from the very beginning.
Key Milestones

Ministry Founded — Pastor Osei Akomeah establishes the Music Ministry as the church grows in number and spiritual vitality.
First Performance
16 Charter Members deliver an anointed special song that moves the pastors and the entire congregation.
Named from the Pulpit
Pastor declares the group’s identity — “This group shall be called The Power of Praise.”

Executives Elected and confirmed by Head Pastor Bismark Osei Akomeah. Deacon James K. Quartey takes the helm as Music Director.
